I am an artist that lives in Newburgh, Ontario. I’m originally from Ajax, Ontario but moved out to this area 20 years ago and haven’t looked back.
To say that I love creating art is an understatement. It gives me joy and a sense of accomplishment. I work primarily in the medium of coloured pencil but occasionally delve into graphite and pastels. I feel that pushing your comfort level, exploring other artists’ work and continually developing one’s skills is the best path to becoming a better artist and that the creation of art is a life-long venture. I have a particular fondness for animals as subject matter but also find still life and floral works to be particularly enjoyable and feel that moving between subject matter keeps things interesting.
After taking several years off to pursue other personal goals I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to return to my art and look forward to the journey that I have ahead.
