Jeanne Hudson
Jeanne Hudson is retired and calls Napanee, Ontario home where she and her husband have lived for forty-six years. Jeanne’s involvement with the arts began at an early age and has continued intermittently throughout her life through many different outlets (music, ceramic artistry, calligraphy, water colour painting) and now acrylic painting. Her interest in acrylic painting was recent and began with a paint pouring workshop led by Napanee artist, Gary Barnett.
This sparked a renewed interest in painting. Jeanne become involved in an active online acrylic painting group, receiving intensive instruction primarily from two award winning artists, Jed Dorsey and Dianna Shyne, which has enabled her achieve early success in her acrylic painting endeavors. Jeanne’s paintings lean towards impressionism and light.
I love the beauty of the natural world around us. When someone falls in love with a painting, it’s usually because of an emotional connection to the content.
