I grew up in Toronto and have lived in Halifax Nova Scotia, London Ontario and occasionally on Manitoulin Island.
My fascination with art began many years ago while watching Bob Ross. Every episode, must see TV! It wasn’t until roughly 2010 that I tried my hand and began the long journey of trial and error, mostly error. Gallons of acrylic and many canvases later, I discovered the wonderful world of YouTube! Self taught, or YouTube taught, I’ve embraced the challenge of “attempting” realism with a focus on the natural world, especially songbirds. Nothing in our world gives so much, and takes so little, as the songbird.
