Rosa was born in Berlin Germany and showed an interest in art, design and fashion from an early age on. In her spare time Rosa has always been busy with pen and paper drawing figures, furniture or buildings.
Rose has taken many art classes over the years, but only since she retired and moved part time to Amherst Island has she been more serious about her art? Her main interest is in arranging shapes and applying paint to paper, canvas or fabric.
For a time painting on silk, creating wearable art, soaked up most of her time. Today Rosa paints mostly in vibrant acrylic colours on canvas. Her paintings are abstract, with a hint of reality, inspired by nature.
